Family and Education Programming

Throughout my career, I have designed, conducted, and hosted programs for students and families. My programs bring ignite curiosity and creativity in people young and old. With vibrant energy and an innovative approaches, I aim to bring musical concepts to life in ways that are lively, engaging, and unforgettable. Learning meets excitement, and every moment is filled with the magic of the symphony orchestra.
A Young People's History of the Orchestra
In this program, we witness the expansion of the symphony orchestra through history, experiencing music by composers including Bach, Boulogne, Beethoven, Castro, Boulanger, and Bates.
A Journey Into Jazz
In this program, we encounter Beethoven the improvisor, learn about Igor Stravinsky meeting Charlie Parker, and follow little Eddie's journey into jazz as depicted in Gunther Schuller's masterpiece.
The Sound World of Star Wars
In this program, students discover how John Williams created the sound world of Star Wars, while experiencing some of their favorite music from the Star Wars saga.
